C-TPAT Certification & Compliance Seminar Wednesday, November 16, 2005 Greensboro High Point Marriott And Thursday, November 17, 2005 Longistics - 10900 World Trade Blvd. - Raleigh, NC
To date, over 9,000 companies have voluntarily applied for certification under the government’s new C-TPAT program (Customs & Trade Partners Against Terrorism). Although certification is still voluntary, it may eventually become mandatory. Once this happens, both the costs and the length of time it takes to get certified will increase.
This seminar will walk you through the process of understanding the crucial need for every member of the international supply chain industry to become a member of the C-TPAT program, enable you to get certified quickly, and keep you abreast of changes in requirements.
You’ll get in-depth analysis of the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism Program that will provide answers to the industries’ most often asked questions pertaining to the program, application and validation process. At this one-day training seminar, you’ll also:
· Learn about the new CBP mandates and guidelines as of Marach, 2005. Customs has identified new benefits along with changes in the security requirements. · Understand how to weigh the importance of C-TPAT certification in your global supply chain. · Get a better understanding of how to navigate the application process. · Identify all issues with validation · Hear how to set up in-house training and education · Learn how to develop or improve guidelines for SOPs. · Uncover how to better utilize third party resources in C-TPAT.
